  • Bursitis
  • Tendonitis
  • Scar tissue
  • Jumper’s knee
  • Nonunions
  • Tennis elbow
  • Patellar tendinitis
  • Plantar fasciitis/heel spurs
  • Shin splints
  • Stress fractures
  • Enhancement of bone healing
  • Calcific rotator cuff tendinitis

Protocol of Care

We use only protocols of care that are proven through research when providing shockwave therapy. Patients are seen for 3-6 visits, having one session per week. Patients often experience relief after 1-3 sessions. The maximum effect of having shockwave therapy will occur 8-12 weeks after completing the protocol of care, as tissue regeneration requires this time.

Shockwave therapy is covered by most private insurance plans under chiropractic or physiotherapy.
